Are you a believer in the paranormal, or a skeptic curious about ghostly tales? Either way, our ghost tour promises to intrigue and entertain you with spine-tingling true stories from across the WKU Hilltop. At WKU, it is not a question of “Is the University haunted?” but rather “Why is this University so haunted?”

Join us as we delve into actual encounters with the “unexplainable,” with a history so rich in hauntings it was showcased in a 2012 episode of The Ghost Hunters. But there's more to our tour than just spooky stories. Come explore the eerie history of the hill itself and discover documented events that may have led to lingering spirits:

  • Van Meter Hall Mystery: Does the spirit of a worker killed during construction wander the halls? Or do multiple spirits linger there?

  • Cherry Hall: Does the mischievous ghost of a long-dead professor roam these halls?

  • Cravens Library: Whose spirits have been seen wandering among the bookshelves?

  • Fort Lytle: Tour the remnants of this Civil War fort and learn of the tragedies that occurred there, without any battles being fought.

Unravel the mysteries of who lived, died, and might even be buried on this historic campus. Find out why the Hill has had a haunting reputation - since the 1800s!

Book Your Spot Today and Step into the Unexplained! Bring your camera! You never know what you might capture in a picture!

Whether you are familiar with campus or a visitor for the first time - you will find this an informative and intriguing evening stroll!
